Chandryaan-3 recently confirms water ice possibility on the moon ,it was a a great achievement of ISRO .
Key findings :
Chaste instrument has measured on site temperature variation ,also reveled a 60 degree differences between the surface & just 10cm below of it .
there is possibility that water ice deposited may exist beyond polar region but maximum possibility might be at high latitude slopes due to low heat conductivity of lunar soil
Scientific implication :
this finding support chandrayaan-1 , earlier confirmation of water molecules on the moon ,water ice detection expands potential resource zone for future lunar missions ,temperature variation of soil depends on terrains which influencing future habitat location.
