As per the latest announcement from 16 july 2025 , all indian govt payments above Rs 75 crore must be made through the RBI’s E-kuber System
The e-Kuber system is the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Core Banking Solution (CBS) designed to streamline and centralize various financial operations within the Indian banking sector, It essentially acts as a one-stop electronic platform for managing transactions between the government and banks.
