1) Setubandha Scholar scheme is the first national level Programme to formally Integrate Traditional Scholars in to the Research Ecosystem of IITs without insisting on Conventional degree ..this scheme marks a significant shift in India’s education policy, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional Gurukul learning and modern scientific inquiry. 

2) 14th Edition of the India-Singapore Joint Military Exercise “Bold Kurukshetra 2025 “ has commenced recently in Jodhpur ..The exercise is a significant event in the bilateral defense cooperation between India and Singapore and is scheduled to continue until August 4, 2025

3) World smallest known snake has been rediscovered in Barbadose ...The Barbados threadsnake, also known as Tetracheilostoma carlae, is a tiny, blind snake that burrows underground and feeds on termites and ants,It measures only 7.5 to 10 centimeters (about 3 to 4 inches) long when fully grown, making it the smallest known snake species in the world..

4) Bihar govt has announced an increase in Honorarium for ASHA & Mamta Workers recently ,as per the new rates ,Asha workers will receive Rs 3000 as incentive (UP from Rs 1000) ..recognizing the important role of ASHA and Mamta workers in strengthening health services in rural areas

5) Recently A 38-year-old woman from Kolar, near Bengaluru,  Karnataka, was found to have a new blood Group named CRIB ..CRIB is a new antigen discovered within the Cromer blood group system, and it’s named for the Cromer system itself and the discovery location (India and Bengaluru).

6) on July 2025 , Suman Bery presented India’s Third Voluntary National Review (VNR) reports on the sustainable Development Goals (SDG) at the UN high level Political Forum 2025 ..  This presentation at the UN High-Level Political Forum highlighted India’s progress and commitment towards the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It also marked India’s third such submission to the HLPF(HIgh level political forum )

7) 0n International Tiger day 29th July , Uttarakhand govt has announced that Agniveer soldier will be directly inducted into upcoming Tiger Protection force ..Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that this measure will strengthen the mechanism to prevent poaching and protect the tigers’ habitat. Corbett Tiger Reserve is a crucial habitat for tigers in India…

8) The Indian Coast Guard (ICG ) and the United Arab Emirates national Guard command signed an agreement on maritime security and safety coopertaion in New Delhi on 30th July 2025 ..This agreement is India’s 10th such pact with a friendly foreign country and aims to enhance bilateral maritime cooperation and contribute to a safe, secure, and sustainable maritime environment. The MoU was signed during the 13th Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC) meeting between India and the UAE

9) Gavri , a 40 day annual ritual and folk festival is performed by the Bhil community in Rajasthan .. It’s dedicated to Goddess Gauri (Parvati), who is considered a sister by the Bhil community, and invokes the deity Gorkhiya Mata, believed to be a protector and spiritual guide. Gavri commences after the full moon night of Raksha Bandhan, usually in August, coinciding with the post-monsoon season
