- India sent a contingent of over 300 student-athletes from more than 60 universities to compete in the Games, which took place from July 16 to 27, 2025. This was India’s largest-ever university contingent at the Games. The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT-DU) contributed the largest university contingent with 40 athletes across seven disciplines.
