1) After six (6) decades of glorious service in the Indian Airforce , the MIG 21 will retired on 26th Sept 2025 , The final two squadrons of the aircraft will be decommissioned at a ceremony in Chandigarh, The MiG-21, which was India’s first supersonic fighter, was inducted in 1963 and has been a cornerstone of the IAF for decades.
