18) kaziranga Tiger Reserve in India become the 3rd most Tiger dense reserve in the World ,Kaziranga now has a tiger density of 18.65 tigers per 100 sq km. It currently trails only Bandipur Tiger Reserve (19.83) in Karnataka and Corbett National Park (19.56) in Uttarakhand, both also in India. The tiger population in Kaziranga has increased to 148 in 2024 from 104 in 2022. This growth is largely due to the first-time inclusion of the Biswanath Wildlife Division in the sampling, where 27 new tigers were recorded.
