SEFCO-2025 is the 7th edition of the international conference “Shaping the Energy Future: Challenges and Opportunities” . It was hosted by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research-Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP), Dehradun from April 23-25, 2025 .

Some of the notable international researchers included Prof. Paul A. Webley (Monash University, Australia), Dr. Richard Blom (SINTEF, Norway), Prof. Samira Siahrostami (Simon Fraser University, Canada), Prof. Keiichi Tomishige (Tohoku University, Japan), and Prof. Eric van Steen (University of Cape Town, South Africa) .
- Exhibition: An exhibition showcasing CSIR-IIP’s technological innovations and research milestones was also part of the conference .
